What do you love about Proalpha?
I love that I encounter a variety of tasks and new challenges on a regular basis. This way, I never feel bored. Furthermore, I get the chance to continuously develop.
How did you experience the application process and the onboarding process?
Both the application process and the initial training went pretty well. Initially, Proalpha provides you with a mentor, which is a great help.
How were you able to further develop at Proalpha?
First of all, I'd never heard of the programming language "Progress" and I also had no experience in the development of ERP systems. Thanks to Proalpha, I was able to learn a new programming language and to add the development of ERP systems to my programming skills.

How did you experience the onboarding at Proalpha?
I quite liked the onboarding process. I was invited to an interview despite my lack of experience with ERP systems. I had the impression that they preferred to get their own idea about someone instead of merely considering all kinds of certificates, especially in case they are not yet available, which is usually the case after one has just graduated. This also applied to me. I was assigned a personal mentor who supported me during the onboarding process and the probation period. Additionally, there are many internal trainings which introduce the programming language "Progress" to beginners.
How were you able to further develop at Proalpha?
42 and yes, I am being serious here.
If you could have any superpower – which one would it be?
Immortality would discourage me from wanting to achieve anything in life – so, no.
Superhuman power is useless unless someone is able to use it – so, no.
To be able to travel anywhere? I think I would have chosen a different job if traveling was what I wanted – so, no.
Thus, the only logical answer a computer specialist could give you, is this: I wish I was Tony Stark or had at least his ability, namely superhuman intelligence.

What do you love about Proalpha?
What I love most is my colleagues' friendliness and their readiness to help. This makes me feel comfortable in my team. Our gender ratio is balanced and that has a very positive impact on our working environment. In IT, this ratio is very rare and therefore, pretty remarkable.
How would you describe Proalpha in three words?
Contemporary, open-minded, creative.
What do you love most about your job?
I love that I keep learning new things and that I can share and exchange my knowledge with others. Proalpha offers you many opportunities for further development. The trainings are very diverse.

What do you love most about your job?
There are two things I love most about my job at Proalpha: First, my wonderful colleagues with whom I have the privilege to work on a daily basis. And by this I not only mean my own team, but the international colleagues across the globe, too. I see the passion with which everyone supports the product.
Second, it never gets boring because there are always many different tasks to work on. Each of our customers has their individual requirements. I hear from a lot of my colleagues who have been working at Proalpha for 15+ years that they still find their job interesting and that they keep learning new things to this day. Therefore, I'm looking forward to all the challenges at Proalpha that are yet to come!
If you could have any superpower – which one would it be?
As a child, I always thought teleportation was fantastic.
How were you able to further develop at Proalpha?
I've been working at Proalpha for almost three years. I was quickly introduced to more complex tasks once I finished my initial training and started working in project business. Every day, I learn new things and acquire new skills which are indispensable in a corporate environment. Even as a fully trained employee, one can still participate in the training offered by the Academy to further deepen one's knowledge in all kinds of modules. Regular feedback from the team leader and department head aim at identifying new training opportunities and setting new goals. I am looking forward to seeing what is waiting for me at Proalpha in the years to come.
